West Sydney Wolves Basketball Association is your new home of basketball!

Exciting things are happening at West Sydney Wolves Basketball Association (WSWBA). We are thrilled and proud to announce that our new official headquarters are now located at PCYC Auburn.  The move is part of a long-time plan that will help WSWBA establish a stronger presence in the Western suburbs of Sydney and increase the love of basketball in our local areas – Cumberland, Parramatta, Strathfield, Burwood and Canada Bay.

Located in Wyatt Park, PCYC Auburn is a community-based sporting club that provides a platform for young people active in life; develop their skills, character and leadership. PCYC Auburn aims to reduce and prevent crime by and against young people. The mission and vision held by PCYC Auburn closely aligns to West Sydney Wolves Basketball Association’s view to provide the local youth access to professional level training programs no matter what socio-economic background, gender or fitness levels and increased community engagement whilst creating a healthier community. WSWBA is working towards providing our community with world class sporting facilities and experienced coaching and officiating staff. Our team’s passion and dedication is invested in creating a community-centric ‘heart’ within the local community, “The West Sydney Wolves philosophy and belief is that basketball and sport is an incredible platform which can teach the youth of Australia positive traits such as work ethic, discipline, sportsmanship, and important life lessons that can transition onto all aspects of life,” Marvin Bayer, Basketball Athletic Director.

The WSWBA Stadium has been redesigned to showcase WSWBA’s branding and colours, this redesign will truly make our players, staff, sponsors and Association members feel welcome and at home. Our new home will be key to WSWBA’s plans to become the face of basketball in New South Wales.

We look at this new location as the start of a great chapter in WSWBA’s history. “It’s an exciting journey ahead. We want to provide everyone opportunities to achieve their goals. I look forward to sharing the success with you in the near future. Thanks for everyone’s support through the years and with the move,” Ronnie Khalil, CEO, WSWBA. Our new home at PCYC Auburn will provide a platform for WSWBA to expand, reach more young people in our community and to grow the love of basketball and sport which will be a vehicle for inclusion that draws together people of different races, religions and backgrounds. Our new location is testament to our growing presence and expansion in the Australian basketball scene and we foresee this growth to continue now and in the future.

We, at WSWBA, want to extend our deepest gratitude to PCYC Auburn for making us feel so welcome during our move and in our new headquarters.
